She converted to Islam in the early 80's and choose the name Zainab. Her love for the theatre started as a young girl when her father used to take her to the cinemas. The Icon who started her career many years ago as an Announcer , Presenter and News Caster at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) after she returned from England where she went to studied at the Stanislavsky Institute of Drama.
Today she is a great grandmother.
