SIKIRU ADESHINA a.k.a ARAKANGUDU IS DEAD.

Veteran Yoruba actor ARAKANGUDU died in kaduna through heart attack, in his sleep early Tuesday morning.

Some of his other colleagues confirmed this news to us while his photos has now been circulating the internet with many eulogies from fans and family. For several years, the popular and talented actor who is known for his mastery of the characters he played in movies left many wondering when he abruptly stopped being featured in movies. His unexpected hiatus from our TV screen and features in Yoruba movies were he had become a household name raised a lot of concerns amongst fans and colleagues in the industry. Until his recent comeback in the amazing Ayaba Oosa movie.

The baritone-voiced actor made his come back into make-believe industry which filled up the void he had left. Ayaba Oosa was seen as a huge comeback for Arakagudu which contributed to entire success of the movie. It was written and produced by Yetunde Abubakry and directed by Okiki Afolayan.

Ayaba Oosa, was released on 2nd of June 2015 from the stable of Okiki Films & Music Productions. Arakangudu played the role of a palace chief which was his last feature in a movie. The flick also featured the likes of Antar Laniyan, Ojopagogo, Moji Olaiya, Tomiwa Alajogun and many others.

The fantastic actor also produced many award winning movies like Iya Oko Bournvita, Agba Osugbo, Aje Olokun ,Ilu Gangan to mention but a few and he was also a movie director which he directed couple of movies. Before his passing today he was known to be working in a personal project.
