TEDDY A And BAM BAM Welcomes A Baby Girl

Former housemates of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, Teddy A, and Bam Bam have welcomed a baby girl.

Teddy A had taken to his Twitter page in the early hours of Thursday, March 5, 2020, where he announced the good news.

In his tweet, the reality TV star shared the name of his baby girl ''Zendaya Folakemi Adenibuyan! Red heart," he tweeted.

Bam Bam and Teddy A became an item after their stint at the third season of Big Brother Naija. It didn't come as a surprise when the couple decided to tie the knot in 2019.

They had a very beautiful wedding ceremony in Dubai which was attended by friends and family of the couple. The couple's outfit was designed by Toyin Lawani of Tiannah's Place Empire while Bam Bam's dresses were styled by Medlin Boss.

The event which held at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai was one of the reasons almost everyone vacated Lagos for us. The wedding ceremony had quite a large number of celebrities in attendance and they did slay.

2020 AJE FESTIVAL: OONI OF IFE, PRINCESS TOYIN KOLADE SET TO HOST MILLIONS OF PEOPLE

AJE FESTIVAL 2020: BRAZILIANS, AFRICANS IN DIASPORA TRACE ROOTS TO NIGERIA AS AJE FESTIVAL HOLDS IN ILE-IFE

All roads lead to the ancient city of Ile-Ife believed to be the cradle of humanity as the *Arole Oodua & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II* will on *Monday 24th February 2020* lead thousands of Ife indigenes, market men and women, tourists, financial experts and business tycoons from across Nigeria and abroad to celebrate the *2020 Edition* of *Aje festival.*

Reports from the *Ile-Oodua Palace* of the Ooni  confirmed the organizers of this year's AJE festival led by *Dr Toyin Kolade* are not leaving any stone unturned with top gear preparations to enable Ooni Ogunwusi host this year's edition of the annual *AJE FESTIVAL* expected to be attended by both local and international participants in a more remarkable way.

Speaking on behalf of the Ooni who is the natural head of the Oduduwa race globally, his Director of Media & Public Affairs *Comrade Moses Olafare* said in a press release that not less than twenty  Africans in diaspora like Cubans Brazilians and Americans have confirmed their flight tickets to arrive Nigeria this weekend to take part in the festival on Monday.

"The *2020 AJE FESTIVAL* Planning Committee ably led by *Princess(Dr) Toyin Kolade* are working assiduously with the *Arole Oodua Olofin Adimula* to ensure a better and more superlative edition of the festival this year with several foreigners coming to participate, especially from Cuba, Brazil and America. Olafare said.

According to Princess *Toyin Kolade* captured in the statement, Ooni Ogunwusi with white pigeons in his hands will lead the procession of participants from the palace 'Ile Oodua' to the Aje shrine known  ‘Idi Aje’, located a kilometer away from the palace right inside the Ejigbomekun market believed to be oldest market in the world where prayers for economic and commercial prosperity of the Oduduwa race worldwide and Nigeria in particular will be made, after which the pigeons are released into the air.

"Iyalaje *Toyin Kolade* last Saturday led her committee to brief His Majesty the Ooni that not less than twenty  Africans in diaspora have already confirmed their flight tickets to arrive Lagos before Saturday from where they will be conveyed to *Ile-Ife* for the  Aje festival holding on Monday which will witness a long procession by the the participants to be led by the Ooni himself holding some pigeons in his hands which will be released into the air after prayers are offered at the shrine(Idi Aje)". *Olafare* said.

The statement added that as one of the 401 gods and goddesses like Ogun(iron), Osun(water),  Kori(children) and Orunmila(divination) Aje is a deity in charge of wealth and economic prosperity with great positive influence on the world’s economy.

"The deity of *AJE* is in charge of wealth, commerce and economy just like Ogun is in charge of iron and Osun is in charge of waters. The festival annually holds on a Monday traditionally known as *‘Ojo Aje’* in Yoruba parlance. During this *Aje Festival*, participants including foreign tourists, business men and women would purchase a white pigeon each, this is symbolic of purity and peace." *Olafare* added

It will be recalled that *Princess Kolade* led a royal team to Brazil in August last advancing the cause of *AJE FESTIVAL* where fruitful discussions and meetings were held with government of the city of RIO and other cultural  tourism stakeholders for collaboration on the festival in furtherance of the Cultural Tourism Revolution Agenda of the *Arole Oodua'Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife* & Traditional Head of the Yoruba race globally.

 Activities of *2020* edition of *ODUN AJE* will be climaxed with a dinner party at the banquet hall of the palace where guests and the foreign tourists will be entertained

  According to her: "He (Ambode Damilola) was my teacher back in 1999/2000 while I was attending GCE tutorials in Lagos. He asked me out but I told him NO ,but we still maintained our friendship before i went to school(University). We met again after i came back from school. Along the way, he introduced his fiance to me then cause they both work together and i also introduced mine to him as well because we were both going out together on that fateful day.  I saw his friend in 2013, and i asked after him and his wife, i was told he was not married and even myself was not in any serious relationship then.......and was the beginning of our renewed love. "

He is based in the United States and is well known home and abroad for his exceptional effects in his photography and also very creative in his chosen field.

SIKIRU ADESHINA a.k.a ARAKANGUDU IS DEAD.

Veteran Yoruba actor ARAKANGUDU died in kaduna through heart attack, in his sleep early Tuesday morning.

Some of his other colleagues confirmed this news to us while his photos has now been circulating the internet with many eulogies from fans and family. For several years, the popular and talented actor who is known for his mastery of the characters he played in movies left many wondering when he abruptly stopped being featured in movies. His unexpected hiatus from our TV screen and features in Yoruba movies were he had become a household name raised a lot of concerns amongst fans and colleagues in the industry. Until his recent comeback in the amazing Ayaba Oosa movie.

The baritone-voiced actor made his come back into make-believe industry which filled up the void he had left. Ayaba Oosa was seen as a huge comeback for Arakagudu which contributed to entire success of the movie. It was written and produced by Yetunde Abubakry and directed by Okiki Afolayan.

Ayaba Oosa, was released on 2nd of June 2015 from the stable of Okiki Films & Music Productions. Arakangudu played the role of a palace chief which was his last feature in a movie. The flick also featured the likes of Antar Laniyan, Ojopagogo, Moji Olaiya, Tomiwa Alajogun and many others.

The fantastic actor also produced many award winning movies like Iya Oko Bournvita, Agba Osugbo, Aje Olokun ,Ilu Gangan to mention but a few and he was also a movie director which he directed couple of movies. Before his passing today he was known to be working in a personal project.

May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

DRUMMERS ARE NOT BEGGERS SAYS AYANGBAJUMO

Eniola- Lias Abiodun is a professional drummer and unarguably a woman thriving in a skill mainly dominated by men.

She got her stage name AYANGBAJUMO coined by her fans because her performance on stage was well appreciated. In an interview with her on a talk show ENI OLOKIKI(The Famous) with Bisiologe on IBILE Tv-African Cable Television, Ayangbajumo opened up to her fans on some of her concepts.

Her father is a retired Army from Gbagura town in Abeokuta Ogun state , while her mother is from Ilesha in Osun state where her grandmother taught her how to beat drums.
Ayangbajumo explained furthermore;

''Whenever we were taken to Ilesha for holiday with our grand mum, I would observe that varieties of drums were hanged against the wall in the sitting room. Having shown interest in drum beating just for fun then, I curiously asked my grandma what those drums stand for and would really like to know if we have drumming background. I was in secondary school at this period. She made me to realize that we have no drumming background that my grandpa was an influential man and that was why he married three wives. She told me that she was blessed with a set of twins three times for my grandpa with my mum being as the last born set of twins.

She told me that after her, the rest two of my grandpa's wives also had twins. Then, the culture was that once you have twins, it is imperative for you to take them out and dance around the town in company of a competent drummer. So, being an influential person, my grandpa detests that idea. Instead of that, he bought variety of drums and would invite all the professional drummers from Illesha and its environs to come and beat those drums for his twins. He would also invite all his friends and associates to come and celebrate with him. That was where he came about drums which he hanged in his sitting room. And my grandma has already been used to those drums. She was the first person inspired to beat the drum and she trained me on how to beat drum too.

After my secondary school, I joined Alariwo of Africa as a backup artiste. While I was with him, we did an album titled 'Yawa go gas' and I left him after some times to face my studies. However, after I finished from the Poly, I was used to chant (Ewi) in all events I found myself and still beating the drum but was not that good then. One day, a male friend introduced me to Lagbaja band leader, Mr. Muri Ayangbola and it was him that thought me the nitty-gritty of the job. When I got there, I met Ayanbinrin who had already been learning the job but she later left why I was still there. Ayangbola thought me Apala, Iya-Ilu, Gangan and so forth.
  She also mentioned and appreciated some of the Fuji Artists who promoted her like, Alabi Pusuma
