Doris, she has a new movie coming up but her TV show takes all her time and creativity at the moment.

Obiekunie - Victoria owns the hand-on-hip-leg-front pose so ofcourse she kills it everytime. haven said that i think Toke did just ok. but i also think it wasn't easy for her doing it though.

Shola - Toke is in this state where she thinks she is this fashion icon so she goes all out.. but going by this pose she was just channeling her inner VB red carpet pose... she came out looking constipated (kidding - we love you Toke).

Kenneth - Toke Makinwa looks easy while VB looks like she's straining. I will go with Toke.

Nath - VB is the queen of fashion so of course she nailed it 200%. For me I think Toke just tried!

''Nollywood Is Bland And Mediocre" -Genevieve Nnaji

I don’t think I can return to the blandness and mediocrity that characterised Nollywood
One of the best actresses the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, has produced, Genevieve Nnaji, has come out to state the reasons she is not seen in movies as often as she used to be.
The delectable Genny, as she is fondly called by her fans, say that she cannot come back into an industry characterized by mediocre who churn out bland, dull, uninteresting, predictable and unexciting movies every other time.
Genevieve has taken her art to an international level and has acted in such movies like Mirror Boy, Ije, Tango With Me and the internationally acclaimed half of a Yellow Sun, and she does not see herself lowering her standards to accept scrappy scripts all in the name of acting in Nollywood.
In a recent interview, Genevieve said:
 " I guess I haven’t found the right script yet. Creativity and depth are the qualities that I look out for in a script.

In the beginning, the movie industry emphasized quantity but things are changing and there is an improvement in trend.

I am among the people who advocate for the improvement of the industry. So said, I am constantly watching out for the kind of stories I take part in.

I am in support of movies that show a great deal of professionalism and creativity. Having practised my art in international and professionally produced stories like ‘Ije’; ‘Mirror boy;’ and ‘Tango with me’, I don’t think I can return to the blandness and mediocrity that characterise Nollywood.

I have respected myself as an artiste. I think the success stems from the fact that I have given acting my all".

         Ever controversial Yoruba Actress Bisi Ibidapo-Obe, is angry at Nigerians who have been insisting that what she sells in her new shop are sex toys, saying that what she sells are not such things.

Bisi who is still to come out of her messy affair where she accused former member of the House of Representative, Hon. Dino Melaye, of being the father of her child, with Melaye denying such vehemently, before accepting her baby, is now biting at the people who stood by her during the
trying period of her life.
Though she actually posed for photographs with some dildoes and other paraphernalia of sex toys, Bisi still came out to say she does not run a sex toy shop and called Nigerians hypocrites for ever saying she is dealing in sex toys:

I did not open a sex toyshop. I sell men and women under wears and a few other things.

I also have a section for body massage, body polish and other things that are related to that.

On the issue of sex toys, I have this to say: if I sell sex toys so what? Nigerians are a bunch of hypocrites. They make issues out of non-issues. 

Funke Akindele Is Too Big For Me To Compete With: Says Toyin Aimakhu.

We are beginning to fall deeper in love with Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu-Johnson, as she is exhibiting humility, respect and giving honour to whom it is due. She knows and acknowledges a better actress and knows she cannot compete with Jenifa star, Funke Akindele,
who is seen as one of the top actresses in th industry.
As much as she is becoming a better actress with many jobs and recognition coming her way, Toyin says Funke is too big for her to even contemplate overthrowing and that she holds Funke in high esteem because of what she has achieved.
In a recent interview, Iyawo Niyi said:

I can’t overthrow her (Funke) because no one can overthrow me as well. People do have a right to their opinions but we all know that the truth is she is a fantastic actress any time, any day.
