The late Branama Queen, Irikefe Obareki, Keffee, who passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014, in the United States of America, will not be forgotten in a hurry as her friends and family have planned a memorial service and a celebration of life for the Kokoroko crooner.
The
event which will hold in California on Thursday, 19 June, will parade
some of the finest Nigerian gospel singers and ministers who are based
in America, and according to the organizers, it will not be an event for
tears but that of celebrating the impacts she had on Nigerians with her
soul lifting songs, industry and encouraging spirit.
Meanwhile, her remains arrived Nigeria on Tuesday, June 17, ahead of the burial which will hold later this month.
The
body was flown into the country via a Delta Airline aircraft and
touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja,
Lagos, at 4 pm. We wish her family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Even in death,the late singer, Keffee, is still being celebrated.
